There are lots of different cleanses on the market nowadays and they all do completely different things I’ve recently started using a pre-cleanser it is oil based but still water soluble and as well as removing makeup it also removes excess oil from the skin and when the water is applied it basically of carrying all the oil oil impurities from your skin with them, so basically by a pre-cleansing the skin it is the cleanest it can be which then allows for maximum absorption of other products.

As my main cleanser I really have enjoyed using the hydro intense cleansing lotion in the Youth EssentiA range it’s a really luxurious creamy hydrating cleanser very good at maintaining the natural pH levels in the skin it can also be used as a 10 minute mask, so I like to leave it on for 10 minutes before I get in the shower of an evening I have noticed my skin is super hydrated and feels really nice and comfortable. it also has vitamin B5 in there which helps reduce redness which I have also noticed a big difference in my skin.

Why should I use a Toner?

So I’m going to be completely honest I was never really a fan of toners I always thought they were just to remove left over cleanser or make up that was left on the skin, but since working with the Environ range I have been totally converted and actually use 2 toners daily now The first one I use is called Dera Lac Lotion and it basically was designed for the body to help smooth and refine the skin, it has an ingredient called lactic acid in there which helps to gently exfoliate the skin it also lightens and brightens, as well as smoothing it which makes it great for the skin on the face.

I use the Vita Peptide Toner again in the Youth EssentiA range this one contains a combination of peptides which is really unusual in a toner, usually peptides can be found in serums and moisturisers so it’s actually an anti ageing toner which is really unheard-of It actually helps to reduce any inflammation minimise the pores and the peptides in there actually treat the skin into producing more collagen which is super smart! I’ve noticed a massive difference in my poor reduction from using both toners together. So I’m more then converted I’m in love with these toners not only do they do all the above they actually help to enhance the penetration of all the other products I use after so I get the most from the serums and moisturisers I follow with.
